Selected films from Iran-based Ammar Popular Film Festival are to be screened at Argentine city of La Rioja.
A collection of short and feature length films participated at the Ammar Popular Film Festival are to be screened at the National University of La Rioja.
Among the selected movies are ‘The Golden Collars’ and ‘Iranian Orphanage’, both directed by renowned Iranian filmmaker Abolqasem Talebi.
The program also screened ‘All Alone’ directed by Ehsan Abdipour. The film focuses on Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program.
Ammar Popular Film Festival has an international section which goes against promotion of “individualism and extreme enjoyment without caring about the society's troubles and other human suppression,” the event’s official website noted.
The seventh Ammar Popular Film Festival was held in December, 2016.
